Lesley is a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner with over thirty years of experience in both local government and the private sector.
She understands the need to provide practical solutions to issues within the context of the whole business operation. Lesley can also call on her governance experience having spent a number of years as a chair of governors.
Working closely with clients Lesley supports strategic management, is an experienced trainer and clients develop long term relationships with her either in training or consultancy. Lesley is a Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming which supports increased effectiveness both in consultancy and training.

Niall has worked in local and central government. As a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner he specialises in Food Safety and Health and Safety.
Niall is an experienced trainer and also specialises in effective communication. He is a Master Practitioner in Nuero Linguistic Programming which focuses on communication and modelling to become more effective.
He has worked within central London Authorities and with the Food Standards Agency gaining significant knowledge which enables him to support businesses.
Covid-19 has led to Niall working with Public Health England and Essex County Council to support with complex outbreaks and managing Covid-19 issues across Essex.
Jill has extensive knowledge through working within school catering, at local authority level, in the private sector and being the regional secretary for the Lead Association in Catering in Education (LACA).
Jill has worked as a catering manager under a contractor model and supporting the service in its conversion to an in-house approach. Jill has supported Essex County Council through the universal infant free school meal implementation and overseeing a large number of new build and refurbishment projects.
Jill supports LBA Safety supporting schools in their catering management. Jill also supports food and contractor procurement in schools ensuring best value.

Jo is our office manager, keeping the office running smoothly. She brings a good skill set managing the office and being your main contact when organising courses with us. Jo will likely be your first contact when you call the office.
Vanessa is a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner having worked in Local Government and the Private Sector. Vanessa has significant experience in noise control, food safety and health and safety.
Vanessa supports our retail, hotel and manufacturing clients. She has formed excellent working relationships with clients helping them achieve accreditations, meet legal and best practice standards and supplier requirements.

Nicky has operational experience working in catering, events, residential and facilities management.
Nicky supports a range of our clients and is often complimented on her flexible approach.
Nicky works with some our clients, providing in-house part time technical management support.
Gill Hardwicke is one of our Technical advisers supporting clients in catering management working closely with our schools and other clients. Gill is a trained Chef with a passion for food and utilises those skills within her advisory role.
She has worked extensively within the private sector in business and industry catering management within blue chip companies and in Area Support roles. She has excellent data management skills and is responsible for developing our menu and recipe costing calculators for the school sector.

Carol is LBA Safety’s Business Manager. As LBA Safety continues its successful growth path Carol assists in managing the business and supporting the team. Carol brings an excellent skill set to keep us all in line and manage the finances.

Charlotte has joined our team in a Business Support role. Charlotte trained as a Chef and has extensive knowledge in hospitality and catering. Charlotte brings a rounded skill set to our team and supports both in the office and also client facing providing advice, guidance and support.

She has a part time position at LBA as the office dog. Roxy brings a unique skill set to the team. She ensures staff have routine breaks from their desks to play ball. Loves to chase anything that might move in the office garden and enjoys a good shouting at the post lady. Due to all the excitement an office brings, regular naps are required throughout the day.
Our courses run in venues around Essex, always include refreshments, lunch and comprehensive course materials.
We work hard to keep up to date so our training is informative and we like to inject some fun!
